Following completion of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with University of Leeds, Dr Danny Burkle has joined LBBC Baskerville on a full-time basis as a Product Development Engineer responsible for developing the business further. Danny completed his PhD in oilfield corrosion in 2017 with University of Leeds.

LBBC Baskerville are now securing orders for this new standard range of autoclaves and with Danny’s extensive corrosion testing experience are able to offer full support to the sector.

Howard Pickard, Managing Director of LBBC Baskerville said “We are pleased Danny has joined the team. LBBC Group has many years’ experience in autoclave design and his corrosion testing expertise had been key to the development of our range of corrosion testing autoclaves. This completes our second KTP project and we are looking forward to continuing our working relationship with The Institute of Functional Surfaces (iFS) at the University of Leeds, School of Mechanical Engineering.”

LBBC’s collaboration with the University of Leeds has continued to thrive and they have recently sponsored a post-graduate research student, Robert Jacklin whom is working on a PhD project supervised by Professor Anne Neville and Dr Danny Burkle on the continued development of corrosion testing autoclave technology. The project title is “Advanced Autoclaves for High Temperature/High Pressure Corrosion Assessment”.
